Thanks to the design and construction of 180 Technology® resonators, the internals will not break down and degrade over time causing tone change. And if you're ever planning on running an aftermarket downpipe, AWE made it easy to convert by including an adaptor that necks down to the factory downpipe, but is easily removable if you ever want to run something bigger up front...
